This past Sunday was spent recording sound for Kate Brown's next installment to her 16mm film series Vilas Kortas, Vilas Kortas Long Beach Grand Prix. That's "Guraaaahn Preeee" btw. After 40 years, organizers of the event want to go whole hog classy (they've had "prix" in the bag for a while) and embrace the snazzier pronunciation of the event by silencing the "D."
