30 years and 9,000km later....dreams do come true. Finally learning to play Mr. Sakamoto's "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence."  I still haven't seen the Nagisa Oshima film (starring David Bowie), but like many people who grew up in Japan in the 80's, the music is written into my dna.
